Brendan de Clercq is an Irish / French professional portrait and fashion photographer and mixed media artist. He graduated as an HBO photographer and designer.

He is also the only certified trainer of Profoto in the Netherlands and specializes in Lightshaping. There are 10 of these trainers in the world. Brendan is known for the busy and very informative workshop "The secrets of the Profoto Lightshapers.

​De Clercq likes to share his exceptional knowledge and expertise through masterclasses and workshops. He is also one of the most fanatical ambassadors for Sony and inspires many photographers worldwide who want to improve themselves in the photography and lightshaping area with his workshops.

In this Masterclass on 4th May 2019 Brendan de Clercq takes your fashion and / or portrait photos to a higher level.
He explains the theory on the basis of his own work, made in the studio and on location. Brendan teaches you everything about the preparation, the lighting, the manipulation of light with various light shapers and the determination of the atmosphere and composition.

Program
In addition to a short theory, the day program consists of a large part of practice.
Under the guidance of Brendan you will photograph a model in various circumstances, while he gives tips and group assignments in which you can apply the theory. Model will be Marjolein Roelofsen.
​Afterwards, the photos taken will be discussed and you will be given extensive opportunity to ask questions.
